About this game

Enclothed cognition is the idea that our clothes can affect our psychological states. In this way, I love getting dressed. I love clothing as technology, expression, and materialization of taste. If cognition is enclothed, I've been collecting my thoughts and feelings for a long time. This dress-up game is me honoring my collection of selves.

My best friends describe my style as eclectic, colorful, and sophisticated. I'm attracted to playful patterns and color combinations, yet enjoy cuts and lines that feel unsevere and flattering. My favorite fabrics are cotton, linen, tencel, and silk. I like natural fabrics and forms.

This reflects my Kibbe body type as a Soft Natural, which I like to consider when shopping. As a Soft Natural, I like easy textures and avoid anything too sharp or precise. I like relaxed fabrics with some movement more than structured tailoring.

Color season-wise, I test out as a True Autumn, meaning I allegedly look best in warm but clear colors like golden yellow, true red, warm fuchsia, spring green, turquoise, warm denim, and eggplant. True Autumns also look better in gold jewelry than silver, but I still mix my metals.

For fun, I also consider my astrology in my styling. I'm a Leo rising with an Aquarius Venus. In astrology, one's rising sign is their "first impression." As a Leo rising, I favor bold and perhaps theatrical ways of dressing. I lean more toward classic glam, sparkles, and rich statement pieces than edgy or grungey styles. Meanwhile, one's Venus sign is what they're drawn to aesthetically. As an Aquarius Venus, I like pieces that are a bit unconventional. More than most, I like kitsch, patchwork, futuristic, and unexpected pairings. Together, my style can be warm, cute, yet unpredictable.
